The twins are in KINDERGARTEN!

Unfortunately, I was not able to go to the twins' orientation with them to meet their teachers. :( It was my first day back and I had to be at school. But, Dan took off so he could be with the twins for the day. They were able to meet their teachers, Mrs. McDermott and Mrs. Owen, and some of their classmates. Madison was very excited about going to school. Daniel wasn't so much. He's been going to school for 3 years so he's enthusiasm is diminishing. Daniel picked a Thomas the Train backpack and lunchbox and Madison selected a Barbie backpack and lunchbox.

Then the big day arrived! The first day of kindergarten. Unfortunately, it was raining so we got ready and packed into the minivan to take them to the bus stop. My dad joined us for the big day. When we got to the bus stop, we meet Megan from our neighborhood and another little blonde haired boy. We are kinda hoping that the twins will each have a friend their age in the neighborhood since we don't know too many families yet.

The bus arrived around 7:50 and they were off. Dan took off for the day so they would have him home after school. They both told us they had a GREAT day! They were exhausted that night because both of them were out by 8:30. Wow, I can't believe how big there are getting and that so much time has past since I brought them home from the hospital.
