Daniel and Madison had their Valentine's Day parties at school on Friday. They were so excited to give and receive Valentine's Day cards to their classmates. We had a blast creating them last weekend too! Then on Friday night, the twins' school held a Sweetheart Dance. We didn't know what to expect, but we signed up to go. It was two hours and we were hoping we'd get a chance to meet some new people in the town. We arrived around 7, and happened run into Marisa and Evan at the door to go in. It was a little overwhelming at first. We walked into the cafeteria and there was a DJ playing music, the room decorated, and LOTS of kids dancing on the dance floor. Immediately after we got there, Madison was greeted by a little boy and he wanted her to come out to the dance floor and dance with him. He was SO cute! He was dressed in a suit jacket and seemed to really like Madison. Madison acted very shy towards him, but he kept trying off and on all night. Daniel was EXTREMELY shy. All he wanted to do was sit in a chair hiding his face from the crowd. Three little boys came over and REALLY tried to get him to play with them. Madison and Brayden began to warm up and dance on the dance floor. But, Daniel took until 8 to finally stop hiding from his friends. We all danced more for the last half hour. We had a good time! We saw Pete, Marisa, and made a few new friends.

Then Saturday came, we went to the library again (our bimonthly visit) with Billy and Aunt Cari. We didn't stay too long because the kids were more energetic than our last visit. Then Daniel, Madison, Brayden and I went to Office Max and Target. On the eay home Brayden fell asleep in the car. We then came in and Madison was complaining about a tummy ache. We almost canceled our dinner plans for tonight but we decided to go. Glad we did, Daniel and Madison ended up falling asleep while we were at dinner and Aunt Lala only had to watch Brayden. So it was an easy night of babysitting for her. We came home right after dinner, the twins are now coughing and have fevers so tomorrow will be a low key day at home. Dan is going to purchase a new TV for our living room since the green screen won't go away.
