More thanks...
Nov 10th I am so thenkful that Madison made two really nice friends in our neighborhood. Nov 11th I am so thankful to have spent a wonderful day with my amazing family! We had so much fun today going to Ikea and stopping at Sal's for an early dinner.
Dan and I married on Saturday, April 12th, 2003. I had the most fairy tale wedding a little girl could ever imagine! It was even more special that I married the love of my life and my best friend on that special day. We were only married a few months when we decided to expand our family. However, that was going to be harder than we thought. After three years of trying to conceive and numerous visits to the fertility specialist, we finally got pregnant with two of the cutest babies ever! We conceived twins on November 12th. Approximately 9 months later, on Friday, July 14th, 2006 at 1:29 and 1:31 pm, Daniel and Madison entered and changed our lives forever! We were so blessed to have two babies and a boy and girl on top of it all! Then two years later (exactly), we conceived another little baby, 100% naturally; something we thought that would NEVER happen to us! Ten months later Brayden Vaughn enter our lives on April 6th, 2009, and made life even more priceless than before! Now we are living our fairy tale...
My little creations...
The oldest by 2 minutes...
Daniel was the first born; he beat his sister by two minutes! After the twins were born, Madison had to go to the NICU for a little TLC and Daniel stayed with me in the maternity ward. Daniel came home on July 18th, 2006 without his sister. He was (like) an only child for 3 days until Madison was able to come home. We were so thrilled to have them together that they slept feet to feet in one crib until they were 6 months old.
Daniel is a very quiet boy, he doesn't say much, but he loves to joke around. He has a GREAT sense of humor. He LOVES routine. He doesn't like change. He LOVES trains and cars. He will sit and look at a Thomas the Train book for hours. He loves to play on the iPhone, he works it better than I do! He is in preschool and LOVES it! He attends speech to improve his articulation, but if you ask Madison she can tell everything he's saying. It's got to be a twin thing!
The princess...
Madison came second! She came into this world seeking the attention she loves! She is a true princess at heart! She LOVES to dress up, LOVES to wear make-up and enjoys torturing her brothers. She started talking at 9 months and hasn't stop since. She's extremely whitty and has a good sense of humor. She LOVES to sleep with Mommy and Daddy in the middle of the night. She is also in preschool and enjoys it! She can write her name independently and has even been working on words that rhyme.
The unexpected miracle...
As many people know, Daniel and Madison were conceived by invitro after many years of trying. We were told that conceiving a baby would not be something that would come naturally to us. We never thought after having the twins that having a baby the "old-fashion" way would ever happen. Little did we know, in July of 2008, God had different plans for us! We conceived Brayden on the twins birthday so 10 months later, Brayden Vaughn entered our lives. He's been the EASIEST child ever! He goes with the flow, but acts older than he is! I couldn't imagine life without the three little monsters God has blessed me with! I thank God everyday for giving me the gift of children!
