Merry Christmas!

Buddy (our elf) was hiding in the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve morning. Under the tree, the children found three small presents! They were all wrapped in special wrapping paper. Madison's was wrapped in Little Pet Shop, Daniel's in Iron Man and Brayden's in Toy Story. They were SO excited that Buddy brought them something back from the North Pole. They got NEW Christmas PJ's!!! They had to wear them to bed that night for Christmas. The PJ's were blue and pink with little brown monkeys with candy canes on them!

I held my Annual Christmas Eve Party, which happened to be a big flop this year! Lisa prepared DELICIOUS food (as usual) and I ran around crazy to make things perfect. Dan had to work most of the evening, gotta love retail! But, we pulled it off! Mom-mom, Poppy, Great Grammy, Aunt Michelle, Aunt Lala and myself with my 3 devils were all enjoying dinner. Until Daniel decided to ask 100 times if it was present time yet!  The twins are really bad this year wanting more and more presents. They don't understand the point of giving and receiving presents. They really don't understand the meaning of Christmas at all. I have begun to think about getting involved in a church around the area that has a bible school or something for children their age to help them.

On top of it all, I am VERY sick. I had x-rays done on Wednesday to check for pneumonia and/or a broken rib. Thankfully, it's neither but I'm still having extreme pain on the left side.

The children were all nestle in bed...finally they fell asleep at 11! What a LONG day!! They were so excited for Santa to come tonight. They placed reindeer food on the lawn with Gavin and put out milk and cookies. They said goodbye to Buddy since he will be staying at the North Pole until Thanksgiving.

The kids woke up about 7am and were so excited to see what Santa brought. They ran downstairs saw the presents and went to town unwrapping. The presents were unwrapped in less than 15 minutes! Madison was THRILLED to get the walking puppy. Daniel was EXCITED to get the superhero ship. Brayden was HAPPY just unwrapping boxes.

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family!
We love each and every one of you!

Have  a Happy, Healthy New Year!
