Easter

Easter Sunday just passed...first time I didn't host a holiday in like 5 years! It was nice not to have to worry about getting prepared for company on a holiday! I needed a break from hosting. We woke up at 7ish, Daniel and Madison had to guess the password from Dan to go downstairs. Big help because both of us wanted a few minutes to brush our teeth and take a morning pee. The password Dan picked was "underwear" so it took a few minutes for them to guess. After they guessed, we ventured downstairs to see their easter baskets. Felt a little like Christmas, since most of their baskets were filled with toys and not candy.

All of the kids got patio chairs, Daniel and Brayden got Thomas and Madison got a princess chair. Can't wait to take the chairs to the beach. Madison got a princess crown, My Little Pony toy, a Rapunzel blanket with her name stitched on it. Daniel got trains, a new Thomas DVD, and some new tracks. Brayden got toy story things like a beach ball and bubbles and a DVD. After each of them dove into their baskets. We started to get them ready to do the egg hunt in the basement. The Easter Bunny hid 58 eggs in the basement. The twins of course got carried away with excitement and caught most of the eggs.

Then mom-mom, poppy, pop-pop and grammy came over and they got more toys, and then it was time to leave for Cari's house. The kids had a BLAST! Although Danny was very upset that Aunt Cari didn't get him a Thomas present. It was like Christmas all over again. They are so spoiled!
