I gotta say in was an extremely busy month! The kids have been attending TLC with Addison on Wednesday and Fridays which means I've got to see Mel more than ever since we've had kids which is my favorite part! We went to their house for Addi's birthday party on the 14th which was a blast. They had a giant water slide that Dan and the kids had a blast on. Lisa catered the party and the kids were entertained ALL day! The next day we had the twin's birthday party at Tumble Times. We had such a great time at Bray's 2nd party that we thought it would be just as wonderful. It turned out that the place was extremely hot!! They said the air was on but I honestly think they turned it on minutes before we got there. The party itself was fun though. We did a princess and superhero theme, so their cake was done by Walmart and was half chocolate with superheroes and half vanilla decorated with a princess castle and a big six in the middle. The boys' favors we're superhero caps with their names on the back and superhero stickers and wall climbers. The girls' favors were stickers, tiaras and wands. After the party there, we headed home to open gifts. The men went outside and set up the twins new water slide while they opened all the gifts. They loved it and so did all the kids!!!
We've been really busy with play dates and activities. Just this past week we had a play date at Mandy's house, a music class at the library, a trip to Ocean City with my Dad, another playdate with Kim and her two little munchkins, the 4h fair, another play date with Mandy here at our house, a picnic at the park, and now tomorrow we have a magic show at the library. It's been really fun but it's making the summer go by so fast!
I can't believe school is starting back up in five weeks. It'll be here before I know it!!! Bray is official going into a preschool 3 class for his speech and language issues. Madison and Daniel will be in first grade this year. The twins will be doing the after school program at Bullock and Brayden will be watched by my mom and inlaws. I really thought this year was going to be different but it's just like the rest of them. Another struggle to stay a float financially!
